Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Wash and Maintenance Assistant include the following. Other duties may be assigned. External cleaning of Commercial transportation equipment including tractors and trailers Daily cleaning of Shop and Yard areas Provides facility maintenance support Assists Mechanics with repairs as needed Performs minor tool repairs Picks up and delivers parts to local vendors Assists with parts inventory as required Repairs and organizes tire chains Organizes and reports tire inventory to Maintenance Manager Assists with equipment & maintenance paperwork as required LTI employees enjoy an excellent health and welfare package that includes medical, dental & vision insurance, group term life insurance, a 401 (k) Plan and a Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
