When I went through my life crisis 4 years ago, I felt depressed, lost and without a life purpose. My relationship with myself, my marriage, and with others faced new challenges. It left me feeling exhausted. Thankfully, through my spiritual leadership MBA course at Santa Clara University, research, and participating in coaching seminars and therapy, I’ve identified a philosophy to heal me from my past. It focuses on these 5 areas of my well-being: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and self love. By practicing these, I’ve been able to find myself again, reconnect with others, heal my marriage, and replenish the energy to move forward with my dream again. I can say that I once again feel grounded, peaceful, and resilient. I wanted to share my story in the chance that someone else might be able to relate as a parent, a business owner, or simply as someone who also faces life’s challenges. As a mother of three children, I’ve always struggled to find the balance between raising my kids, my marriage, and pursuing a professional career. It’s not easy but by mindfully engaging in those 5 practices, I’m able to feel confident and accepting of who I am regardless of my situation. I’ve learned that things will eventually fall into place once I start taking care of myself. By hosting Flower Fusion for Ladies, my hope is to provide a community and space for others to heal, connect within yourself and one another. Once rejuvenated, we will find ourselves more capable of creating mindful relationships with ourselves and others, and performing our best in each of the passions we have. Flora Haven’s Flower Fusion embraces five practices: 1. Physical (connect with your body): Yoga 2. Emotional (connect with nature): Floral Design 3. Intellectual (personal growth guided by experts) : Connect with others in shared conversations 4. Spiritual (connect with yourself): Meditation 5. Self Love (reward yourself): Spending time for yourself.
