It's time to get our Christmas on with the rowdiest family in town! Will the Christmas play survive? We’ll be reading and discussing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, by Barbara Robinson. Then, we’ll watch the movie and talk about how they are similar and different - and of course there'll be snacks! Each month, we'll pick a different book to read and then get together in a video chat, or in person when it is safe, and discuss it. By getting together like this, we foster a love of reading and expand on reading comprehension. This is intended to be a safe space and negative comments and actions will not be tolerated. The group is through the Soddy-Daisy Community Library and hosted/administered by Kelly Flemings, Founder and Education/Outreach Coordinator, and Debbie Condry, McConnell Elementary Librarian and KELCURT Foundation Board of Directors member.
