When you enter the Temple you will know you have stepped into a sacred and feminine space - a place filled with flowers, glittering candles, and seductive scents; a space that invites you to slow down your rhythms to the pace of your own inner Goddess. You'll feel the sap returning to your limbs, and the contraction and stress melting away as we move our bodies, open up our sensuality, and open our hearts to experience deep self love and compassion. This month’s theme is the Heart and Mother Mary. As the temperatures drop and we step into the winter season, it’s time to soften, open and receive the warmth of the compassionate goddess energy. When the armor around your heart softens, you open yourself to receiving in all ways in your life, particularly through relationship and human connection. Let’s face it- this year has been challenging for most in so many ways, and it becomes easy to stiffen up to shield ourselves against the challenges, but in doing so, we close up our heart and can isolate (ice-olate) ourselves. Join us to melt the ice, and come into your juicy, blossoming rose-y feminine heart. Mother Mary is the Goddess of Roses, Compassion, Unconditional Love, and Miracles. This is a truly magical and deeply powerful feminine energy, but many of us have negative associations with her because of her “virgin” identity and the way her image and story have been used to shame women around our primal sexuality, and wildness. During this evening we will do some powerful practices to heal this severing between these aspects of ourself so we can embody the full face of the divine feminine as sensually alive, and heart centered. Join us to reconnect to the genius of your feeling body, and your inner goddess.
