I have 12 parakeets (budgies) that were surrendered to Michigan Budgie Society from a hoarding situation. They are colony bred, so I do not recommend that they be used for breeding purposes. They are sweet, young birds. Most are docile when handled and could be trained to be hand tame without too much effort. Please send a photo of your cage to be considered for adopting one of these cuties. All adoption fees go to Michigan Budgie Society, a nonprofit organization.
