A Braid Bar for Sista Love, a community that celebrates black and mixed race girls and teens that are being raised by non-black caregivers. Come get your hair braided along side other Sista Love girls just in time for Christmas and New Years. Partnering with Beauty in Me Salon and Boutique, Sista Love girls and caregivers alike can socialize, connect and feel pampered while getting their hair braided by professional hair stylists. There will be 4 braiders available with 4 slots at 10am and 4 slots at 2pm. $45 and $65 styles will be available. The $20 ticket cost is a deposit that go towards the cost of your style. Must come to the with hair clean and blown out. Scholarships available for those who need it. Branching Out's Sista Love and Brother Love communities celebrate black and mixed children and teens who are being raised by non-black caregivers. Many of these kids are part of the foster adopt community, others are simply from biracial families. We aim to create inclusion and intersectionality through social events, education and camaraderie between children, their caregivers, and black and brown mentors who help them to feel embraced by the black community and help to provide mirrors through which to see their future selves in. Branching Out Family Services is on a mission to support families when life gets tricky. We offer family coaching, educational counseling, HCBS services, behavior coaching, advocacy, intervention and expedited referrals.  We walk alongside our families every step of the way. Specializing in special needs and foster/adoptive families.
