~ ELF ~ 1ST MOVIE OF OUR CHRISTMAS POP-UP DRIVE-IN!!! Hosted by THROWBACK OUTDOOR CINEMA ~ ELF ~ Saturday 12/4/21 - 5:30pm Show Time. 2003, PG Rating, Starring Will Ferrell & Zooey Deschanel. Gates open 30 minutes prior to show time. Please arrive early. Please help support our business by pre-ordering your popcorn here and purchasing some of our other great concessions onsite! Visit our Facebook page for full menu. **Please Note - Because we do not have a food license yet to prepare popcorn ourselves, we are partnering with Kernel Kullman and offering PRE-ORDERS for their yummy popcorn! Other items will be available onsite but only a very limited amount of extra popcorn. Be sure to pre-order here! ** Don't forget! Right next door is Sportsman's Lake Park WINTER WONDERLAND Light Show! A separate cash only ticket is required at their entrance. ** Please read our HOW TO DRIVE-IN details, FAQS, RULES, and WEATHER & REFUND POLICY below. Purchasing your ticket serves as agreement that you have read everything below and will follow all rules. :) --- HOW TO DRIVE-IN --- 1) Get excited! :D Dress warmly and bring blankets and pillows to cozy up. 2) Arrive early. Please follow signs at the fairgrounds Parking Lot. 3) Check in with attendant and please park according to the size of your vehicle. 1st TWO rows for cars and small SUVs. 3rd row for small trucks and mid-size SUVs. 4th row for vans, large SUVs, and large trucks. 4) Each row and parking space will be marked with a Christmas light ground stake. Please center your bumper with the Christmas light. 5) Tune in to the radio station provided at arrival and be sure you know how to run your radio, and crank your car for heat, without your headlights coming on. Please practice this before the movie starts if need be. ** A limited number of portable FM radios are available to reserve for rental if you do not have a working car radio. ** Black construction paper and painters tape will be available to tape over headlights if needed. ** Please note - cell phone radio apps and Bluetooth may or may not work properly. A car radio or portable FM radio is recommended for the best experience. 7) Pick-up your popcorn from our concession tent and/or purchase your movie treats and drinks. Get ready to enjoy the movie! 8) Please keep all trash with you in your vehicle when you leave. 8) Let us know through social media if you enjoyed the drive-in and would like to see us next year with more awesome Throwback movies! And please tell a friend! --- FAQS --- --Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? We HIGHLY encourage you to. Onsite tickets will ONLY be available IF advance tickets have not sold out, and ONLY 50 VEHICLES SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR EACH MOVIE. Also, popcorn will only be available for pre-order when you purchase an advance ticket. Advance ticket sales will end the day before each movie at midnight. Our Facebook page will be updated the day of each movie noting if onsite tickets are still available for that night. A sign will be posted onsite that afternoon as well. --Will there be restrooms available? Yes. Restrooms will be available a few yards away. Please accompany all children to the restroom. --Can I run my vehicle during the movie? We ask that you try to not run your vehicle throughout the entire movie. If it is a cold night we understand you may need to crank up for heat more often or run your vehicle for longer periods of time. If your engine is very loud we ask that you limit how much you crank up/run time to be courteous to other guests. --Can I sit outside of my vehicle, with my back hatch up, or in the back of a truck? It may be chilly but yes, as long as you stay in front of your vehicle and do not obstruct others view, and bodies and heads, the hatch door, or any other items do not extend higher than the top of your vehicle. Tie down string will be available for back hatch doors if needed. Please remember if sitting outside you may need a portable FM radio to be able to hear the movie sound well. A limited number of these are available to reserve here for rental if needed. --Can I bring my pet? Unfortunately we ask that you do not bring any pets. --- RULES --- -- NO headlights during the movie. As mentioned above, please be sure you know how to run your radio and crank your car for heat without your headlights coming on. -- As a courtesy to other viewers, please limit using your cars interior light and bright cell phone screens during the movie. --Please remain in the designated movie area within the parking lot of the fairgrounds, unless visiting the restroom. Please follow the lighted path when walking to/from the restroom and accompany all children. --NO ALCOHOL, ILLEGAL DRUGS, OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT REFUND. --- WEATHER & REFUND POLICY --- In the event of rain, significant winds, or other severe weather, we may be unable to safely set-up and operate. We reserve the right to cancel a movie event up to 2 hours prior to show time if need be. Please follow our Facebook page for updates if you hear the possibility of bad weather on the day of your movie. We intend to show every movie as scheduled and will provide a full refund in the event of a cancellation. ** Please Note - We will only be able to provide refunds for event cancellations.
