We want to offer you a once in a lifetime experience to taste 4 different Old Forester's most rare bourbons including ALL THREE of the 150th Anniversary Bourbons and this year's Birthday Bourbon. This is the only time that you will be able to get pours of all four bourbons at the same time! Let's celebrate this year ending in style with Old Forester and The Earl by sipping some of the finest bourbons that are offered. Join us as we discuss the history of Old Forester and what makes their bourbon such a staple in the craft. We will all sip each bourbon as we hear their individual story and bring in the new year! Old Forester 150th Anniversary Bourbon honors George Garvin Brown’s original process and represents a collaboration between Master Distiller Chris Morris and Master Taster Jackie Zykan. This expression consists of 150 barrels chosen specially by Chris, made from wood seasoned 150 days. Jackie then personally tasted and batched all 150 barrels into three very distinct flavor profiles and proof points showcasing the taste variations among barrels depending on where they rest in the Old Forester barrelhouses. Old Forester will release the 20th iteration of its limited-edition, vintage-dated Birthday Bourbon on Wednesday, Sept. 2 in celebration of founder George Garvin Brown’s birthday. This year marks the 150th year of the company he began in 1870. The 2020 Birthday Bourbon will be bottled at 98 proof and is made up of 95 barrels, aged 10 years, and barreled on June 5, 2010. After showing exceptionally unique character during a tasting panel, the 10-year-old barrels were chosen specifically for this year’s Birthday Bourbon. The full allotment of the product represents one day’s production of Old Forester.
