Job summary Our real estate development company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work in our company-owned commercial and residential buildings. Candidates applying for this position must have general working knowledge and experience with HVAC, plumbing and general repair skills. $18.00 - $20.00/hour (depending on experience) Responsibilities will include: Daily / weekly / quarterly operational checks of mechanical systems, life safety systems, site and common area lighting.Fulfill service requests in a timely manner.Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing and pipe fittings.Perform routine HVAC maintenance (Filter and belt changing)Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, work-in-progress, etc.Assist as needed in snow removal (shoveling, de-icing)Available for rotational weekend on-call coverage (2 - times per year)High school diploma, or GED. Two years of experience in facility services capacity.Valid driver’s license.HVAC trade school. Ability to work from ladders.Must be able to effectively communicate. Ability to learn unique mechanical systems such as pools, steam and sauna.Ability to perform lifting tasks associated with the job (50-60 lbs).Ability to work with a variety of power and hand tools.Strong professionalism, customer service, and team oriented.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, along with work independently.Positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliable.OSHA 10 training is a plus.
