Full-time position as janitorial and light maintenance person at Budget Self Storage, located at 3445 Collins Avenue in Richmond. Duties include sweeping out empty units, cleaning abandoned items from storage units, keeping the grounds clear of trash and debris, mowing lawns and general landscaping duties, maintaining inventory control of cleaning and maintenance supplies and showing storage units to potential customers. Light maintenance duties include minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and preventative maintenance to roll-up garage doors and roofs. Basic mechanical knowledge is required. There is roof and ladder work that will be approximately 10 feet high. This position is for 40 hours per week, the days of the week to be decided. There is a fair amount of walking, and there will be some medium to heavy lifting. Position starts at $16.00 per hour. Please respond with resume by email.
