We operate with a relentless focus on unique products and exceptional customer experiences. Fyrn.com We are looking for a Woodshop Helper to join our team and help us build beautiful furniture. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist in the production of wood components for furniture - This includes cutting, shaping, drilling, sanding, and more. - Finishing wood components - Wearing proper PPE - Using industrial woodworking machinery FIXED TERM This position terminates at the end of the project: currently estimated at around 6 months. At that time you may be eligible for a long term position with the company at our Reno factory. REQUIREMENTS Some woodworking or cabinet shop experience is preferred. You have a decent rudimentary understanding of woodworking tools (sanders, routers, drill presses, etc). You are not afraid of working hard and repetitive tasks. You know how to get things done and work well amongst a team. BONUS POINTS FOR: - Experience in a manufacturing/production environment. ON THE JOB TRAINING Joe, our Wood Production Manager, and Derek, who’s been at Fyrn from the start and knows everything will be showing you the ropes. You’ll have their full support every day.
