Position Title: Packer/Loader - 3rd Shift Wage: $16/hour Shift: 3rd B Schedule Hours: 10pm-6:30am Mon-Fri Egg-cellent career opportunity. Apply today to join this growing company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Unload racks and load conveyor, feeding the machines and ensuring eggs are stable for shipment - Assist packing with loading eggs, preparing them for the sterilization process - Assist with boxing and preparation of boxes of finished product as necessary - Inspect product and product packaging for defects and ensure they meet quality standards - Clean up and sanitation of equipment and general work area - Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures, OSHA safety regulations and procedures, and wear personal protective equipment - Wash trays, put stickers on the boxes, and palletize the boxes by type and size of egg Requirements: - Lift up to 35lbs; most lifting will be in the 20-30lbs range - Walk and stand for long periods of time - Use hands and fingers to reach or feel - Wash and rinse the trays - Production experience - food manufacturing a huge plus - Ability to reason and apply common sense when carrying out instructions - Moderate physical activity to sometimes strenuous (air conditioned work area) Benefits: Full benefits once hired QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
