LAKEWOOD, CO — A third person was arrested in connection with the homicide of 81-year-old Lakewood resident Gail Wilson, police announced Thursday. Jay Sean Griffith, 21, faces charges of accessory to first degree murder and tampering with a deceased human body, Lakewood police said. Ricardo Gonzalez Perez, 35, and Savannah Nicole Wilson, 25, were taken into custody last week. Perez faces first-degree murder charges and Wilson faces accessory to first-degree murder charges. She is the 81-year-old's great niece, but called him her father, according to social media posts. "There was no sign of Mr. Wilson and he remains missing," Lakewood police said in a news release Thursday evening. Gail Wilson was last heard from at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 31, police said. His truck was driven into downtown Denver around 3:30 p.m., and the vehicle contained a rolled-up carpet, a tall white laundry hamper and black trash bags, street cameras show. The truck, a 1997 red Ford F-150, was found Friday in the 1600 block of Irving Street in Denver. The 81-year-old is described as 5-feet, 6 inches tall, around 180 lbs, with gray hair and hazel eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a red hoodie. Anyone who lives or works in the area who may have been a witness, or anyone who has video footage of the items being dumped from the truck, is asked to call the Lakewood Police Tip Line at 303-763-6800.
