Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. We are looking to fill the following positions... Coordinator: As the Volunteer Coordinator you will be working with a wonderful volunteer team, coordinating schedules, helping delivery drivers head out with the correct bags, and assisting with various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along. You would be needed Thursdays, 8am - 11am, at the MOW office located at the Federal Way Community Center. Qualifications: Good communication and people skills, reliable, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders. This is an on-going volunteer commitment. We are looking for volunteers who are available long term. Requirements: Complete an application, consent to a background check, be able to lift 15lbs, be at least 18 years of age, and have a Washington state driver's license.
