By John Gibson, WNIN November 19, 2021 Congressman Larry Bucshon has officially announced he's running for re-election. The 8th District Republican is seeking a sixth term in the U.S. House. In a release, Bucshon said he's worked to "champion commonsense conservative values of faith, family, and freedom." In the statement, the Newburgh physician also claimed the U.S. is facing its "biggest wave of socialism...ever." Bucshon said he's humbly asking Hoosiers in the 8th District to renew his "job contract in 2022." There's no word yet of any Democratic challengers for the congressional seat.
