By John Gibson, WNIN November 19, 2021 The COVID-19 death toll in western Kentucky has topped 600. The Green River District Health Department announced two more fatalities in Henderson County and one in Union County on its Monday dashboard. The latest deaths raised the toll in the seven-county district to 601. Henderson County's death toll climbed to 111, while Union County saw its 36th fatality. The agency also tallied 238 new infections between Friday and Monday. Kentucky residents can schedule a COVID vaccination at vaccine.ky.gov. Numerous retail pharmacies and health centers are providing COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots. Vanderburgh County has topped 95,000 full vaccinations against COVID-19.
