Press release from the Wright County Government: November 19, 2021 The Wright County License Center has announced that, as of 8 a.m. today (Friday, Nov. 19) more than 1,000 appointment slots have opened for renewing driver's licenses – covering the period of Monday, Nov. 29 through Thursday, Dec. 30. The License Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 24 and Friday Dec. 31 in observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Walk-ins are accepted, but those with appointments are given priority. Appointments can be made at the Wright County website (www.co.wright.mn.us) and going to the "Make an Appointment" tab on the left side of the home page. As a reminder, the License Center will be moving in mid- to late-January to the new Government Center on Braddock Avenue on Braddock Avenue on the outskirts of the City of Buffalo.
