Press release from City of Douglasville: 11/18/2021 Here are come upcoming road closures that Douglasville residents need to know about:  Brightstar Connector (Roundabout installation for the Silverman Phase 4 development) 30-Day Closure  Beginning Wednesday, October 20, 2021  Reopen Friday, November 19, 2021  Detour Route – Please see this map. Bill Arp Rd, Veterans Memorial, and Brightstar Rd will be the main detour routes. Timber Ridge Road (Road improvements for the Harmony at Douglasville Assisted Living Facility) 30-Day Closure beginning Wednesday, October 20, 2021.   Road will reopen Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 4 PM (This has been extended from Friday November 19) Detour Route – Please see this map. Prestley Mill Rd to Slater Mill Rd will be the main detour routes (southbound to northbound) or Shawnee Trail to Slater Mill to Prestley Mill Rd for (northbound to southbound).
