Hi! I hope to make some new friends and collaborators here. I am a vocalist who just moved to Austin from India.. Goa. I'm American - originally from Boston, was living in LA before covid in a Jazz vocalist program. Ive been teaching wellness and yoga for over ten years but always a writer and actress. Now, I have trained in protools and play a little keyboard and guitar (mostly for composition and personal enjoyment right now). I sang back up with a band of legendary musicians, American Vinyl All Star Band. I had my first solo performance with original music in LA right before covid. Met a lot of great musicians in Goa to jam with and now working on recording somethings with them. While in India, I took up Indian Classical which has helped with my jazz improv for sure and yeah, now just looking to build my network, collab and start gigging here. I have a set list which is a combination of jazz standards, original and classical pop songs. I am passionate about world music too (taking a course on it) and love to collab on new ideas and things outside the box as well. I am well experienced in video editing and was a model for years as well so would like to make some content soon too. I have everything basic for recording at home and... yeah - have also done voiceover work and a lot of womens leadsership, empowerment work so the music I write tends to have an underlining message about life (more so than love, but that's cool too, just so over-rated and done I think as I really love and feel fulfilled when people connect with me after they feel a connection to the meaning of my music, this to me is so precious). so let's see where this all leads..
