Description

Join us for our 10pm Christmas Eve service As we welcome the Light of the Christ child this year, we hope to gather in person in our sanctuary for a Christmas communion service at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24. You must RSVP in advance on our website by noon on Thursday, Dec. 17 as space is limited to 80 people. Our ability to have this service is contingent upon three things: 1) Bishop Trimble has currently asked all United Methodist churches in Indiana not to have services the first few weeks in Advent due to rising COVID-19 numbers in our state. We will honor his request if it continues through Christmas Eve. 2) Monroe County must decrease to yellow or blue status on the Department of Health COVID-19 map. 3) We must have a minimum of 50 people sign up by Dec. 17 to justify our staffing needs for such a service. All who sign up must be willing to mask and sit socially distant from those not in their household. We hope to be able to gather to share in sacred time of holy communion, and we appreciate your understanding if our plans must change due to the pandemic. In this unprecedented year, may we know the love of the Prince of Peace born to us again.
