Davenport Masonry & Restoration is hiring! We’re hiring Masonry Laborers and Bricklayers. We're looking for people who are willing to work hard but be fairly compensated for their hard work. No training is necessary for our laborers - we'll train you! We are a union contractor, so you'll receive union benefits. After two days of training at $10/hour you move to $21.98 per hour with merit increases to $29.31 per hour in the SE Michigan market. How quickly you move up is up to you - your work ethic, skill development, and reliability. This position will be located on one of our jobs in SE Michigan. We're also looking for EXPERIENCED Bricklayer Foreman and Bricklayers. If you're a business owner and looking for a less complicated life - we'd love to talk. We offer Foreman wages up to $39.98/hour in the SE Michigan market. For the SE Michigan market only - we're also putting a $5,000 sign-on bonus on the table. If you don't have any experience as a Bricklayer, that's okay. Just be willing to work through the Union Apprentice Program where you can work toward a great career that is currently paying $39.98/hour as a Bricklayer Foreman and $37.23 as a Journeyman Bricklayer in the SE Michigan market. The Apprentice wage starts at 60% of the Journeyman's wage and is increased with your performance and reliability. Pay rates are adjusted to different markets and the cost of living.
