Any interest in beginner guitar jam?

This is an inquiry to see if there is any interest in a beginner guitar jam. If there is, then the next step will be trying to make it happen. Basically, it's fun to play with others, helps get us used to playing in front of others, and helps keep us inspired. There are opportunities all over the place for more advanced players to do this, but not much for those of us who are closer to the beginning of our guitar adventure. What do we mean by "beginner"? At a minimum: you can strum basic major and minor open chords, as well as being somewhat comfortable with major and minor barre chords; and you can play basic 12 bar blues, maybe not fast, but smoothly. In addition, if would be great (but not required) if you have been introduced to soloing, or are able to play/improvise simple solos. What is NOT a beginner? If: you can fluidly play fast songs, you know and play sus, 9th, add etc. chords; you can fluidly fingerpick, or you can fluidly play 4 or more chords in a single bar; then you are not a "beginner" in the sense above. However, if you are somewhere in between "beginner" and "NOT beginner" and don't mind "playing down" to the group level, maybe this would be of interest to you, too. If you are a beginner or close to beginner and are interested in one or two beginner guitar jams per month, please reply to this post. No information will be shared, but it would be helpful if I can reply to you somehow to let you know if this is really going to happen (or not). If you know of spaces we could use or rent, please include that info. Will there be a fee? Probably, nothing is free, but we'll try to keep it affordable. Masks? Yeah, until things get back to normal, whenever that is. No age limits, if you can work a guitar or bass or other portable instrument, that's old enough. Instruments: guitar (accoustic or electric), bass, other portable instruments maybe, but you're more on your own because I know nothing about them. Me: older male, started guitar at age 62, pretty much a beginner, slightly better in some ways, slightly worse in others, used to jam with fellow students before covid, getting REALLY tired of covid crushing the life out of us.... Again, this is just an inquiry to gauge interest. If there is enough interest, we'll try to make it happen; if not, well.... Thanks and keep playing, George
