Position: Grocery Stocker Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00 PM or 6:00AM-3:00 PM Salary: $14 an hour Responsibilities: • Greet guests and assist them with any question they may have • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude, organizational skills, time management skills, willingness to learn new products, and help educate customers. • Take direction, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others. • Assist with inventory tasks, including unloading, stocking, facing, merchandising, and rotating products, with particular attention paid to code dates. • Stock, rotate, and face products • Ensure products are fresh and displays are full and ready for customers • Observe temperatures of coolers and cases and report any failures to management. • Adhere to all safety, health, and compliance regulations. • Maintains a well-organized back stock/cooler area • Stock shelves and maintain cleanliness on both shelves and work areas Other responsibilities: • Serves as a back-up for the other departments as needed • Flexible to perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position. • In a typical work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours. • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching. • Must be able to work in a cold environment. • Must learn to use equipment in motion (forklifts and electric pallet jacks) Please submit your resume if interested.
