The Role: This is a multifaceted and often physical role, responsible for: Driving the company van on deliveries Delivering Rugs Assisting the Sales Team in their efforts to sell to our customers along with the day to day logistics of deliveries Inventory and general showroom maintenance. Duties/ Responsibilities include, but not limited to: · Provide support to the Sales team in delivering world-class service to our customers by: o Assisting with customers in the showroom (i.e. flipping the stacks) o Assisting in house visits and deliveries/rug installations o Ability to handle incoming calls and visitors as needed o Driving/Delivery o Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments (ie. UPS) along with keeping inventory locations up to date and accurate o Promptly attends to requests from both other showrooms and our clients o Careful attention to wrapping, labelling and billing of shipments o Making trips to our offsite facility as needed o Deliver and pick up samples from local clients as needed · Responsible for developing relationships with and scheduling with outside vendors as needed o Installers, finishers, receivers · Responsible for keeping the showroom and stockroom clean and well stocked and organized o Creating ticket labels o Ordering rug pads and other supplies o Caring for rug displays o Daily vacuuming and dusting · Assisting in the day to day logistics and contribute to the overall growth of the Company Competencies and Personal Attributes: · Customer focused · Team Orientated · Computer literate · Punctual/Reliable · High Level of Presentation · Able to carry over 80 pounds in product Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
