Description
Singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, experienced performer in Woodland Hills
looking to form music trio with another M and one F vocalist(s) who also play instruments.
Boomer-era preferred though age unimportant.
Seeking to perform songs of the 60’s and songs that encourage sing-along participation.
Would like to book regular gig work a couple of nights a week, plus 2 or 3 private gigs a month to start.
Songs & genres I envision are folk, folk-rock, heartthrob & teen anthems, early British Invasion,
any songs played on the radio in the 60’s that lend themselves to performing.
Please have a warm & welcoming disposition and be passionate about playing, somewhat professional, socially responsible.
Basic understanding of harmony and willingness to work out unique vocal parts & a desire to make audience-inclusiveness a hallmark of our performances.
Not looking for perfect singers or players, just be willing to perform and mean it.
My philosophy is to always serve the song. I love working without a net and am
experienced in improvisation, engaging an audience, and making those in attendance feel included.
I play several instruments including guitar, keyboard, bass, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bouzouki,
percussion, have gear including mics, stands, PA, amps, effects boxes, loop station, etc.
If this sounds of interest to you, please respond with phone number and contact information, any links to samples of your singing & playing, if you have any. We can then follow-up and see if our stars and sensibilities align. Will reply with samples of my playing & singing, if requested.
Let’s get this thing going and have some fun along the way.
Thanks for reading.
