Job Title: Dispatcher Location: Fife Opening: FT Department: Distribution Reports to: Distribution Center Manager Pay Scale: $19 to $21 per hour starting – Depending on Experience Job Summary: Albert Lee Appliance is looking for a highly motivated dispatcher with the ability to efficiently interact with customers and Delivery/install drivers in a fast pace/high pressure environment. Essential functions of the Position: • Efficiently coordinate and assign delivery routes and fleet vehicles by area • Take calls from stores, sales and customers regarding orders and respond to emails in a timely manner • Problem solve delivery related challenges in the field with Delivery team • Assign, manage and collect fleet vehicles, fleet keys and work phones with drivers • General office duties include – Preparing drivers for success, filing driver paperwork and fuel receipts, restocking supplies for office, keeping office area tidy etc. • Report any fleet vehicle damage or driver injuries to Management Requirements: • Background Check • Valid Washington Driver’s License • Ability to work in an unsupervised environment • Maintain a clean and professional appearance • Professional and courteous attitude • Punctual and dependable • Strong Customer Service/Telephone skills • Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook • Knowledge of the greater Puget Sound area • Ability to lift 50lbs and deliver product if necessary Bonus: Basic knowledge of home appliances & power tools.
