AUTO MECHANIC (MEDFORD) Compensation: Salary dependent upon experience Employment type: full-time Large 6 bay shop looking for an auto mechanic and/or technician A, B possibly C+ with tools, a good attitude and organization skills. Looking for an applicant interested in growing with an independent facility. Many opportunities for the right candidate. Job Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair basic automotive maintenance tasks. • Change oil and/or transmission fluid, filters, tune ups, belts and hoses. • Install and perform tire maintenance and rotations. • Battery installations, brake jobs, suspension, exhaust systems, electrical and engine diagnostics, heating and cooling. • Flushes and fluid exchanges. • Road test vehicles to evaluate issues and then verify soundness after completion of repair. • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED • Valid driver’s license • 2+ years of mechanic experience • Knowledge of Identifix or Shop Key (Preferred but not required) • NYS Inspectors License (Preferred but not required) • ASE Certification (Preferred but not required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
