I have a small Veteran Owned Construction company seeking a helper/ laborer to join the team. I am looking for an individual who can; 1. Can work as a team. 2. Willing to work and keep busy not stand around. 3. Does not need their phone to survive. 4. Has reliable transportation! 5. Willingness to learn. 6. Attention to detail. 7. Clean. 8. Lift heavy materials. 9. Not afraid of heights. I have jobs booked through April to date and a lot more to come. If you have tools and skills then we can discuss that role as well. Job consists of demo of old structures when needed, dig and pour new footings to code, frame and build new structure including rafters and sheeting, but not roofing or gutters. All my work has engineers drawings, permitted, and inspected. We work in Lee’s Summit, Leawood, Mission, Overland Park, Shawnee, and Olathe primarily. Payday is every Friday with hours starting Friday and ending on the following Thursday. We do work some 1/2 Saturdays if needed but those are rare unless Mother Nature throws a curveball and the team wants the hours. I am looking for a fit to the team. Pay will be discussed and will be commensurate with YOUR skills.
