Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team! Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a nonprofit that rescues and provides shelter for abused farmed animals. We host thousands of visitors every season at our Sanctuary in High Falls, NY. This is a full-time, year-round, non-exempt, benefits-eligible position reporting to the Managing Director. Tasks • Fencing • Light construction and repair • HVAC maintenance • Operating tractors, backhoes, trucks and trailers • Barn maintenance • Grounds and light landscaping • Mowing and plowing • Equipment and vehicle maintenance • Plumbing • Electrical infrastructure maintenance • Major appliance repair • Comfort and patience around farmed animals • Coordinating with other vendors and contractors for outsourced jobs • Procuring and ordering equipment, materials, and tools • Ability to coordinate with coworkers and work well as a team member and also work well independently Skills and Experience • Truck and trailer experience • Heavy equipment experience – tractors, loaders, backhoes, plowing – or willingness to learn • Basic carpentry and plumbing skills • Mechanical skills • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds comfortably Job Parameters • Competitive pay to match experience • Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid time off • Flexible schedule possible • Annual gear allowance for work clothes • Training in some areas is available • Woodstock Sanctuary practices real work-life balance and can work with scheduling needs To Apply: Email resume or work history to Jeff Lydon We regret that the number of applicants allows us to respond only to those candidates who we are interviewing.
