Borderlines with Crunchcoat
“Borderlines — a name inspired from either the well-known mental disorder or the 1989 blockbuster sequel Ghostbusters 2 — is a punk rock band from Portland, Maine.
The band was founded in 2012 by former members of Portland pop-punkers The Leftovers and they quickly released the EP "Magical Paths to Fortune and Power," followed by a string of shows and festivals to support it.
In 2016, Borderlines found new footing, new songs, and new and old members in Portland, releasing a few singles between a surge of appearances at some of Maine's top venues.
Recent appearances include the All Roads Music festival, supporting The Menzingers in 2019, as well as a weekend jaunt with Dutch rockers Lone Wolf.
The band shared the stage with Murcielago in Bangor in July. The Sun Tiki show will be the band’s first hometown performance since February 2020.
