Ring in the holidays with the Baltimore Association of Black Journalists as we celebrate the end of the year at Nola Seafood & Spirits in Federal Hill. Street parking is available near the Cross Street Market. The nearest parking garage is the West St. Garage located at 40 E West St, Baltimore, MD 21230. #BABJHoliday is an evening of great food fellowship, fun, games and prizes. Yes there will be Black Jeopardy! VIEW PREVIOUS #BABJHoliday EVENTS https://www.babjmd.com/annual-events/babj-holiday-hangout/ This is our first BABJ in-person gathering since March 2020 and the start of the pandemic. We selected Nola’s because it offers indoor and outdoor dining, as well as the first floor is open to the outside. The restaurant has heaters to warm those in the open air options. The second floor has a full bar, multiple lounge seating options and several monitors. Plus there’s a New Orleans Mardi Gras theme to the venue so laissez les bons temps rouler. Every year BABJ brings our social events to Baltimore area eateries to support small businesses. We typically plan our events on “slow nights” to help out. That said, everyone in attendance is strongly encouraged to purchase a meal to help stimulate the local economy. Nola’s food is amazing and the bartenders are heavy handed. You will not want to leave. So be sure to bless the staff. We’re still in a pandemic and the hospitality industry is working to come back strong.
