Hello, how are you? I am the songwriter/bandleader of a band in NYC. I am a 25 year old queer lass. I am looking for a bassist. Sense of humor a plus : ) I grew up very inspired by the Ramones, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Breeders, Talking Heads, Blondie, Velvet Underground, but my newer songs are more big band 60's Phil Spector/The Ronettes/Beatles/Brenton Wood/Beach Boys/Kinks- harmonies, horns, pianos etc. Weekly practice in BK. Paid local gigs (like at Baby's All Right or Mercury Lounge) w/ touring later on when my album is released next year. Pre-written parts but with songs in the future perhaps you can write your own!
