Description
Help us understand how the brain produces emotions by participating in our research study! In this study participants will view emotional stimuli in an fMRI scanner, undergo physiological recording to measure body activity (e.g. heart rate, breathing, perspiration), and fill out questionnaires and report on emotional experience.
Duration: 3-4 scan visits (~2 hours each) and 3-4 lab visits/virtual sessions (~2.5 hours each)
Compensation: Approximately $400. You will receive $25/hour for four MRI sessions and $20/hour for four laboratory sessions, rounded up to the nearest 15 minute interval.
You must:
Be between 18-35 years old.
Be right handed.
Have normal/corrected-to-normal vision.
Have no metal in your body.
Be a fluent English speaker.
Have no current or prior psychiatric diagnosis
Not be a pregnant woman
Have no skin allergies or sensitive skin
