Making a Nail: Blacksmithing 101 Making a nail seems too simple but in this workshop you will learn most of the basic techniques of blacksmithing; not as easy as it looks but it sure is fun! Sign up for the afternoon class as well: "Making Ornamental Rivets and Nails", a natural successor to "Making A Nail." TekVenture is Fort Wayne's member-based 501(c)(3) non-profit public art and technology workshop and makerspace located at 1550 Griffin Street, Fort Wayne, IN. a public intersection between imagination, technology, community - a space where artists, tinkers, makers, engineers, inventors, prototypers, artisans, veterans, families, youth, sseniors and others gather to use tools, share ideas, make things and create fellowship.. TekVenture offers tools for LASER engraving, machining, woodworking, ceramics, welding, metal casting, forging, electronics, sewing, robotics, vehicle repair and customizing, and more. The general public can access TekVenture through Thursday evening Maker MeetUps, scheduled workshops, events, community building projects, membership, and donations of time, materials, equipment, or money.
