Depending what you are going to get. If you're active get an active pet. If you are a lazy bum then get a less active pet. If you don't have the time, well don't get anything at all. Volunteer a rescue group and do dog walking on your spare time. Also if planning to get a pet try to adopt first. There's to many pets in a shelter that needs a home. Try to adopt.
