Bring your kiddos to construct the perfect gift for the grandparents or jazz up your Christmas decor! Get ready to deck the halls, ACR style! In this class, participants will have the opportunity to create several types of festive holiday baubles from reuse, including game piece snowmen, yarn wreaths, and adorable ugly sweaters. Perfect for decorating your room, tree, or the perfect handmade gift for parents, grandparents, and friends alike! This class is best enjoyed by elementary age learners who can work independently. This is an indoor workshop, masks are required. About the Instructor: Hi, I’m Heather Oster. I’m a lifelong maker. For the last 10 years I have been a scout leader, and have been the artistic director and “art lady” the past 8 years for summer day camp. One of my favorite things is to gather inspiration from reclaimed materials, and collaborate with kids to make useful items from reuse. My classes will combine fun and creativity, and guide future makers as they learn new skills and explore their crafty side.
