Yes, I agree with the OP. It is high time we got a collective of songwriters to flood the area instead of capitalist brainwash bullshit that has us sell our souls for cheap thrills.
Nevermind, expensive ones.
And the reason why?
We have been bred to value nostalgia over the new, over progress.
It is why oil cars still exist, at least even socially, and it is the same with animal products.
And the same with climate change.
Before we know it, we'll be singing "halleluiah" knee deep in ocean water if we're not careful.
