FREE - Illinois Use Of Force Laws-Education & Training Class For Civilians Your legal rights and responsibility when carry concealed This class is for people who own a firearm for the main purpose of personal protection of themselves, their loved ones, and property while in their dwelling or public. This 3 hour class is taught by our Law Enforcement use of force instructors and will cover the following. Use of force in defense of property Use of force in defense of dwelling Use of force in defense of person(s) UUW-Unlawful Use Of Weapon When you can and can’t draw your weapon What you should say / what not to say to 911 Operators and Law Enforcement immediately after a shooting or less than lethal use of force encounter Importance of having Legal Defense for Self DefenseQ&A session at end of class Sign up Seating is limited Our Focus is on youOur 100% bulletproof GuaranteeIf you don't feel 100% confident in your abilities after this class, you may sit on any future version of this class for as many times as you'd like. We want to make sure there are no doubts in your mind when it comes to your ability to make the right decision when yours or someone else's life is on the line.FAQ FYI - Here is some information about the in-class portion of the classes1. Please do NOT bring any firearms into the building!2. You will need to bring a state-issued identification card that has your picture on it3. You do not need to have a foid card but if you do please bring it.4. Bring a pen and notebook5. Arrive on time - anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule as we are mandated by the state to provide 16 hours of training.6. Class location -Mokena, IL 60423FYI - Information about Range Qualifications1. You will need eye and ear protection. We have a limited number of loaner pairs that you can use or at some of the ranges, it is possible to rent these.2. If you do not have a firearm to qualify, let us know and we have one that you can use. You do not need to rush into purchasing a firearm before the first class.3. On range qualification day, your firearm MUST stay locked in your vehicle during the in-classroom portion of the day and when transporting it to the range it should be in a range bag or box or a similar container and be UNLOADED4. Bring between 50 - 100 rounds of ammunition.5. Feel free to bring a baseball or operator hat for the live fire portion.
