Description

Port City Makerspace invites you to visit the shop and meet our makers! See our members and local makers set up tables of their craft, learn about their process and how they use the space, make some connections, and maybe even buy some gifts! Attendance is free! This event will be hosted in our Classroom and Electronics Lab areas, where we will have tables set up for makers, and an area for refreshments and lounging. Makers will have their craft or projects set up on 3x3 tables for display, and you can meet them and talk to them about what they make! Some members may be selling their wares as well, so if you're looking for a last-minute gift for that special someone, why not a handmade item from a local maker? Tables are open to local makers, with a preference for our members. Table will be free! Save your spot by registering for your Maker Table! We will be providing snacks and drinks like hot cocoa and cookies to keep you warm! Please note: We host weekly tours on Saturdays at 2:30. Please attend one of those if you're interested in seeing the rest of the space! Masks will be required for this event! This event will be indoors, and our local covid cases are rising significantly. Be safe! We plan to have significant air filtration and ventilation. If you are sick or think you may have been exposed to something recently, don't come! Open to all ages! Families welcome! Port City Makerspace is a welcoming and inclusive community workshop that provides tools, knowledge, and a collaborative culture to encourage the artist and maker in everyone.
