Diocesan Ordinations (In-Person and Livestream) Join the people of the diocese in the ordinations of two new deacons, Stephen Tiffenson (St. Paul’s, Oakland) and Miguel Bustos (St. John the Evangelist, San Francisco). Deacons are charged with interpreting the needs of the world for the church; modeling servant leadership; and assisting in the proclamation of the Word, especially the gospel, and administration of Sacraments. The Right Rev. Dr. Marc Handley Andrus, Bishop, will preside, and the Ven. Hailey McKeefrey Dolmas, Archdeacon, will preach. Following the guidance of public health officials and our Bishop, we now require that everyone 12 years and older show proof of COVID vaccination before entering the cathedral.
