Join us for a marathon of the Extended Editions of all three THE LORD OF THE RINGS films, back-to-back-to-back on the big screen! On Saturday, December 4th, an annual tradition returns. Starting at 11:30am, we are excited to present the Extended Editions of all three The Lord of the Rings films, back-to-back-to-back on the big screen! The films will screen as follows: 11:30am — The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (208 minutes) 3:45pm — The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (225 minutes) 8:30pm — The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (252 minutes) There will be a 35-minute intermission between Parts 1 & 2 for lunch, and a 50-minute intermission between Parts 2 & 3 for dinner! Tickets are $25 for all three films! Tickets for individual films not available, to ensure we don’t overfill. (But why stop at one or two?) Throw on your comfiest clothes, grab a pillow and blanket, and take a 13-hour journey through Middle Earth! NOTE: ***COVID POLICY*** Due to the 13 hour nature of this event, and for the safety of all guests, EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE PRESENTED AT DOOR IN ORDER TO ENTER THEATER AND ATTEND: -Proof of COVID vaccination. (Full regimen of vaccine shots, with the final date being no sooner than 14 days before showtime.) -Proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours. -Masks will be required, with exception to while taking a bite or a sip at your seat. Frida Cinema passes and Membership ticket discounts not valid for this marathon event (though Members can still take advantage of their concession discounts at box office!). The Frida Cinema is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching, connecting, and educating communities through the art of cinema.  Founded in 2014, it is Orange County's sole non-profit, independent cinema.OC's year-round film festival.
