Skilled Deck Builder / Carpenter

Looking for a skilled deck builder or carpenter, for local work in Kootenai and Spokane County Must Lead a crew of 2-3 helpers. Must know and understand how to build decks of various types and designs. Must have a minimum 10 years experience. Must be willing to work as a 1099,...not a W2 employee. (This simply means you handle your own taxes and everything else.) Must have a vehicle and Drivers License. Must have basic tools: screwgun, skills saw, tape measure, level, etc... Must have a good and "can-do" attitude. Must have good leadership and social skills to talk to customers and professionally represent a good company image. Must have good common sense. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, every now and then. Must know and have a wide range of experience with construction tools. Must have some knowledge of deck building code or be willing to learn it to some extent. Must know how to make complex cuts with a miter saw. Must know and demonstrate how to build stair stringers. Must be proactive and be able to be left alone on a job-site as a leader with a helper or two. This job requires a proactive approach, you must know what needs to get done, and do it.
