Please help us Remember, Honor, and Teach on December 18, 2021 at 11 AM. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT! On December 18, 2021 at 11 AM, Wreaths Across America will be at Stones River National Battlefield to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. The event sponsored by the Civil Air Patrol will begin at 11 AM with a brief ceremony at the Stones River National Cemetery rostrum. Participants will park in the recreational/overflow parking area near the park visitor center. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! In order to follow policies and guidance aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, we will be limiting participation to ensure ample space is available for all participants to maintain a distance of at least six feet from others. VOLUNTEER COMMITMENTS MADE THROUGH THE WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA WEBSITE DO NOT CONSTITUTE A RESERVATION. Anyone who wishes to attend the ceremony and/or place a wreath must make reservations here. Stones River National Battlefield, a unit of the National Park Service, preserves and interprets the landscapes where one of the most important battles of the American Civil War raged from December 31, 1862 through January 2, 1863.
