K Street Cares with Mickey's Christmas Carol ALL AGES The Crest and Capital Books have teamed up this year for K Street Cares with Mickey's Christmas Carol The Crest and Capital Books have teamed up this year for K Street Cares with Mickey's Christmas Carol. The event has two objectives. 1. You deserve some fun that won't break the bank. We decided to host this event completely FREE for you and your family. We will be showing the 1983 animated short every hour on the hour from 1pm to 5pm. That means you have five chances to enjoy the movie, or enjoy the movie five times if you'd like to spend the day with us. 2. We are raising money to purchase children's books for those that may need a good book to read on Christmas morning. We are accepting donations through the link here for those that wish to donate, but may not be able to make it. We will also be accepting donations at the door. Our ambitious goal is to purchase 500 books, so every dollar counts. Capital Books has worked out a great deal to get the books at a low cost and the Crest will match the first $500 in donations to make sure we can reach as many children as possible. We look forward to seeing you all Saturday, December 4 at the Crest.
