Collaborative Housing Solutions of Northwest Montana presents: A town hall discussion on Homelessness in the Flathead Valley. Collaborative Housing Solutions of Northwest Montana is a conglomerate of local homeless service providers in the valley that have come together to address the many facets of homelessness in our community. Our unhoused neighbors often face many barriers to becoming stably housed, and it's tough to keep track of what local agencies and resources can help. Through this event, we hope to raise awareness and understanding of homelessness within our community, and to provide you with the tools and resources to lend a helping hand. This Town Hall event will feature an optional poverty simulation from 9:30-11am (simulation space is limited), followed by a panel discussion and a light lunch from 11:30am-1pm. Our featured panelists will be representing the following organizations: The Abbie Shelter, Community Action Partnership, Flathead Warming Center, Northwest Montana Veteran's Food Pantry, Ray of Hope, and Samaritan House. The panel discussion will be hosted by City Councilman, Kyle Waterman and moderated by Montana Representative, Frank Garner.
