Description

Movement, breath-work, journaling, and meditation In the Northern Hemisphere, the winter solstice is a turning point as the sun reaches an all-time low. This is the longest night and shortest day of the year. While Nature is at its darkest and most introverted, we often find ourselves at our busiest. Despite the merrymaking and socializing of the holiday season, this is a soulful time to go within, reflect, remember, and give thanks. As the Wheel of the Year turns once more, we honor the eternal cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth. This class will be a wonderful opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays, surrender to the darkness, and return to your light. Using movement, breath-work, journaling, and meditation, we will reflect on the past year, set goals and intentions for the coming year, and let go of our past. The class will conclude with a candle light vigil, representing the light within us and celebrating the rebirth of the sun and the return of the light to the earth. Please bring a yoga mat, journal, and blanket Hosted by Cara Rizzoli Cara is a massage therapist of almost 20 years, an energy healer, and a mom of two rainbow babies.
