Job Overview Assemble and/or tear down horse stalls. Responsibilities and Duties Coordinate with other Stall Assemblers to move stall panels to assembly or from tear-down locations Operate power and hand tools Prepare stall sites as needed by removing rocks and trash Paint or stain surfaces Assemble and tear-down temporary stalls Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads Learn from on-the-job training as necessary Be punctual and reliable Effectively communicate with teammates to coordinate assembly, tear down efforts and avoid injury General cleaning and maintenance duties General construction duties including, but not limited to, loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment, removing debris and garbage from work areas and regulating traffic Qualifications Strong communication skills Ability to effectively work as part of a team Education and Experience Construction experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to team lift steel panels that weigh approximately 150lbs and cart short distance repeatedly for 8 hours or more a day Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time Ability to bend and twist body Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl Ability to use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods
