Hands of Hope Sickle Cell Awareness Foundation is seeking runway models for its upcoming fashion show on March 19th, 2022. If you are a model or would like to be one and would love to support a great cause, come by our casting call on December 4th, 2021 and strut your stuff! Looking for men and women of all ages and sizes, ages 8 and above, to walk for multiple local designers. See below for more details. You MUST be punctual and able to attend practice sessions and meetings, as set by the show coordinator. Hands of Hope SCA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization incorporated to help families and individuals living with sickle cell anemia disease by: Providing emergency assistance when needed (prescription assistance and transportation). Provide community information and referral (doctor's, specialist, community programs and services). Provide social and emotional support thru support groups, weekly, monthly and yearly activities. Provide health education to new families living with sickle cell. Provide community educational training, tutoring and mentoring. Provide testing for Sickle Cell and the Sickle Cell trait.  Our mission: To raise sickle cell awareness, educate the community about possible treatment, and pain management. To help build a healthier quality of life through advocacy, education, fundraising, and supporting the Tampa Bay sickle cell community and provide tutoring services for school aged children and young adults.
