Kayla Lund has partnered with The Oaklander Hotel to present a Women’s Empowerment Speaker Series University of Pittsburgh Senior and Panthers Volleyball Star Kayla Lund has partnered with The Oaklander Hotel to present a Women’s Empowerment Speaker Series. The series, which kicks off on Monday, November 22, will highlight women leaders in business, sports, non-profit, and entertainment. The inaugural event on November 22, 2021, will feature keynote speaker Blayre Holmes Davis, Director of Community Relations for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ms. Davis is known for her engaging community initiatives, creative partnerships, and enthusiastic support of charitable organizations, having served on several non-profit boards. The event will be emceed by Tamara Abney, owner of professional empowerment firm Ivy Crown Protocol & Business Solutions and founder of the nonprofit SisterFriend, Inc. This series will take place quarterly on select dates from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM in TheOaklander’s Cathedral Room. Guests can enjoy complimentary passed hors d'oeuvres and 21+ guests will have access to an open bar.
