If you do not own a Pick Up Truck or have previous management experience please do not respond* ~This is a great part time or second job for the right candidate and we have one position open immediately~ Us: - We are a local Valet Trash Service provider started in Austin, TX and have since expanded throughout major cities in Texas and over to parts of the east coast. We work within apartment communities to perform the Valet Trash Service which picks up trash and recyclables at the residents door and brings them to the on-site facilities on the property (we do not haul off anything). The service is performed Sunday - Thursday beginning at 8 PM. The job requires you to be available each of those 5 days at that time (No Friday or Saturday work ever). We staff/time our jobs so we are finished most nights by 10 PM on average. We are professional yet easy to work with and we take good care of the people who are on our team. We have very high standards of service and hold ourselves accountable. We look for people who are honest, team oriented, and take pride in their work. Location: North Austin - The ideal candidate will need to live in or close to North Austin in Arboretum area specifically (Braker Lane and 183 area). Although travel to other parts of Austin a may be required in rare instances to help our team, the territory of coverage for this position has most of the properties close to each other which you will be responsible for and overseeing 99% of the time. Position: - This is a managerial position that will be overseeing our night-time operations on a number of properties within an assigned territory. This position reports directly to the Night Supervisor and is responsible for managing a team of Valet Tech Staff. This position will also be in charge of maintaining coverage schedules and providing general support to Valet Tech staff as well as first in line for escalation when any issues arise on these job sites. Ultimately this position is responsible for ensuring all properties are serviced and Valet Tech staff are doing their jobs correctly each service night. Duties: - This position’s primary role is oversight of the staff and sites however will require physical aspects such as walking up and down stairs, lifting and carrying 30-100 lbs at time (multiple trash bags). Duties for this position include but are not limited to the following list: Ensuring all your assigned properties are being serviced through nightly check-ins Routine site visits and inspections of properties Refit workers with all equipment Be on call for any issues that arise on any given night Reporting on property/employee issues Managing time-off requests and coverage for absenteeism (planned or unplanned). Train new hires Emergency fill-in trash pickup at any properties Compensation: - This is not a clock-in hourly paid position, it is a flat $1,500 month rate. You will be working "hard" in the beginning and training directly with the owners, and other managers. Our goal is for you to “own” every aspect of your territory and move independently with autonomy as part of a greater team. Hours: - This position is 5 days per week (Sunday - Thursday) beginning at 8 PM. If you cannot be available at that time on those days then unfortunately this position will not work for you. Time-off is typically unpaid and requires a 2-week notice when practically possible. Expect to work 1.5 - 3 hours total per night, but again, this is not a clock-in/clock-out job. If everyone is doing their job correctly, most nights will not require you to work a full 3 hours and anything additional to that will be reviewed for extra compensation - we take care of our team for above and beyond. The important thing is we do whatever is required to get the job done whether that be 45 minutes or 3 hours on a shift.
